I hereby decree

I hereby decree that the CNN / YouTube Debate was good. I enjoyed the questions and the sincerity of the user generated questions. I do have one complaint. I understand the need for a moderator, but that also almost undoes the whole "user submitted" questions idea. You get 3,000 questions sent to you, picking the 40 that you would have asked anyway kind of defeats the purpose. I do not think that they did this, but at times it did cross my mind. As far as the "winner" is concerned, I was impressed with both Obama and Richardson. Clinton was good too, but she side stepped a little more than some of the others. The "fringe" candidates (the ones that really don't have a chance - Kucinich, Gravel, I mean you guys) were almost like comic relief. I am interested in seeing how the Republican YouTube debate goes, especially since the candidates will have a little better understanding of what to expect and also now that more people realize that they can send in their own questions. Mad props to the democrats in this debate for being the first.
