Steve Jobs and Apple, Inc. have saved the world. We may not fully appreciate their influence yet but years from now Apple's intuitive and beautiful design will be sighted as the single most influential turning point in the new worldwide renaissance. Why is that? You ask. I will tell you:
The other day while shopping at the mall, on the concourse, I saw your typical family of American nerds. All of them fit the nerd mold except one - the daughter. She was clad in hip designer clothing. I couldn't help but ask myself, why the difference? Then I saw them, the shining hope of a new age, neatly tucked in to her ears; iPod ear buds. She had been saved from a life of lonely nights and geeky laughs by the elegance and beauty of the iPod. Some of you may be thinking that she must have been trendy before she found the iPod, a black sheep in a family of normal, boring people. You are wrong. By some glorious manner she obtained an iPod and it changed her life. Some people don't want "loosers" to own iPods or any Apple product. I say, let them have them. Let them have them for free, and take a gamble on their power to turn darkness into light, famine into feast.
There is hope for all of us.
