I hereby decree

So... first, read here, here, here, and here as well as any other related article you would like.

Now, I am not a search expert. I am not an SEO expert. I am really not someone that can make any say in the above noted debate. I do, however, find it remarkable that even though Mahalo is less than a year old, people are fervently comparing it to Google, a company and search engine with almost a decade of experience under its belt. Of course Google is better than Mahalo (and other search technology) for most things. The fact that people seem determined to prove this fact on a point by point basis can only mean that someone has hit a little too close to home. I can not say if Robert Scoble is right or wrong, but I can say that it seems to me that people are pretty intent on disproving him, which can only mean that he is on to something. Whatever it is.

I actually have a lot of experience in the "trying to be disproved" department. You can't force people to see things a new way. In fact, most new thinking is met with a lot of resistance. That is why revolutionaries have the most martyrs.
