I don't care if people know what I think. This is something I picked up abroad where in other cultures they flat out speak their mind and people aren't offended by it. This is why I have a hard time with "political correctness." The so-called "social" web is an interesting phenomenon but when will it ever stop? I don't really care to have everyone in my "network" know every little thing I am doing at all times. This isn't because I am embarrassed by anything, but more because I just don't want people to know. I guess what really gets me is the almost involuntary nature of it all. What if Google, in an effort to make things more "social" decided to track your always-signed-in Google account using AdSense (not that they aren't already doing this) and then publish a list of the most recent sites you had been to. Some people would love that, others would hate it. I would be in the middle somewhere. Again, I have no shame in what I do, but I don't really want everyone to access to my browsing habits either.
