So, my daughter, Claire, loves certain videos on YouTube. Mostly those dealing with princesses and dancing. Because we regularly switch between several videos for her entertainment, I had an ingenious idea - make a page that controls playback so that at the end of one video another one on a list loads. I spent about an hour coming up with a rough prototype, which can be seen here. It was then I started looking through the YouTube API to try and make it more dynamic when I stumbled upon the fact that YouTube already has this functionality. Users can create playlists and then automatically play through the whole thing.
Well, lets chalk that one up to not being very observant. It was a fun hour of diversion, anyway. It is always fun to stretch my coding muscles in new ways.
Some day I will think of something original, I am just not sure when.
