Just added a Count Down Timer Example and some Code to the WidgetNest code page. Count down timers are something that people make a lot with Adobe Flash. I had to make one a while back for a client, so I came up with some pretty handy ActionScript 3 (AS3) classes for calculating dates and time.
Included in the zip file (link on the widgetnest code page) are working .fla and .swf files, a DateCalculator class (which can parse the date from a string), and a Time class that compares two dates then gives you all sorts of information about the time in between.
Enjoy! It is all released to the public domain.
